San Antonio Spurs are hosting the Sacramento Kings, a team that returned its top 10 players from their run to the NBA Finals last year. The Spurs won 122-106 over the short-handed Mavericks in Dallas on Saturday, with Victor Wembanyama scoring a team-high 23 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Despite this win, Spurs coach Mitch Johnson refused to celebrate the win, emphasizing the need to improve. The Kings have been struggling, losing their first three games and allowing at least 121 points each. Zach LaVine's 37 points led all scorers for San Antonio, while Darius Acuff Jr. contributed 22 points and seven assists for the Kings.
