Mild Fall weather continues as rain returns to the forecast
Best opportunity for showers and storms arrives Thursday and Friday, while Halloween rain chances remain uncertain. Mild and mild weather conditions are expected throughout the week, with highs expected to remain in the mid-70s to mid-80s and only a slight chance of rain west of San Antonio expected. High clouds will continue to cover South Central Texas, but dry air will keep rain chances very low. Rain chances return Tuesday, mainly south of San Antrisio, with only light showers expected. The best rain chance arrives Thursday and Friday as tropical moisture increases, bringing scattered showers and a few storms. However, while heavy rain is not expected, late week offers the highest rain chances of the forecast period. Forecast confidence remains low, but current trends do not indicate a washout for Halloween.
