Two Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on New Sulphur Springs near Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (May 30, 2023) – Two women were seriously injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s East Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m., May 29, in the 5200 block of New Sulphur Springs, near Loop 410.

Police said an SUV was heading westbound when the driver veered into the eastbound lanes and crashed head-on into a vehicle.

Two women in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The SUV driver was arrested and was charged with intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
