SAN ANTONIO — As San Antonio's beloved Fiesta celebration nears, local businesses and organizations have started to make their official Fiesta medals available to the public.

If you, like many, participate in the medal-collecting tradition that dates back to the 1920s, you can now add a few of these recently released medals to that collection.

The Alamo, UTSA, NIOSA, Battle of Flowers and Amols are just a few of the San Antonio staples that got a head start on the Fiesta hype, unveiling their colorful medals.
