GREENSBORO, N.C. — To celebrate WFMY News 2 turning 75 this year, we are opening the News 2 Vault.

We're in the middle of March Madness and that wasn't any different in 1998.

The Final Four was in San Antonio and WFMY traveled with the team because the Tar Heels were competing for another title!

The players and fans toured San Antonio's River Walk. But, the players did not take their eyes off the prize.

"We know after today it's down to business. I'm glad we get an opportunity to enjoy this right now, but our main objective is to come down here and play great basketball," Antawn Jamison said.

Unfortunately for the Tar Heels, it was a short trip.

They lost to Utah in the Semifinals. Utah played in the championship losing to Kentucky.

It was Kentucky's second championship in three years.
