Stolen car crashes after hitting BCSO patrol vehicle during chase, officials say

Deputies found the stolen vehicle with a female passenger asleep inside and waited until the driver, Abel Moreno, came out of a motel and entered the vehicle. The stolen vehicle crashed at the corner of W. Military Drive and 1604, where deputies detained the driver and passenger without further incident.

SAN ANTONIO — One driver has been detained by BCSO deputies after they found a stolen vehicle that later crashed during a pursuit on Thursday afternoon, officials say.

BCSO officials say they found a parked stolen vehicle with a female passenger asleep inside and waited until the driver who was identified as Abel Moreno came out of a motel into the vehicle.
