TEXAS — In a news conference on Thursday, attorney Royce West, who represents Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, said the NFL star was driving the Lamborghini that was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Dallas on Saturday.
Four people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Rice was leasing the Lamborghini from The Classic Lifestyle and was racing along with a Corvette on North Central Expressway, Dallas police said.
Rice wrote in an Instagram story on Wednesday, “Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident. I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”
West on Thursday said Rice will handle his responsibilities regarding the car wreck.
