A San Antonio teenager has found himself on the wrong side of the law after authorities arrested him on disturbing charges of online child exploitation. Saul Ibarra, 19, allegedly assumed a phony identity, pretending to be a 14-year-old girl to dupe minors into sending explicit photographs, according to FOX San Antonio.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, detailing the unsettling case, remarked that Ibarra not only engaged unsuspecting victims in explicit conversations but also set up meetings back in December and Ibarra would establish friendships with these minors, later betraying their trust by allegedly convincing them to part with such sensitive content, according to KSAT News.

In a troubling addition to the case, Sheriff Salazar divulged the possibility of there being more victims; the current allegations include online solicitation of a minor and possession of child pornography, but with the investigation ongoing, the sheriff's office, by urging those with knowledge of the suspect's activities to step forward, clearly believes the distressing list could grow if further information comes to light which the sheriff's office has made available via a hotline, 210-335-6000, and encourages community members to report any additional information.
