Matthew Reyes Mireles led officers on a high-speed chase across three counties in 2019, documenting it on Facebook Live. He shot at officers and killed a police dog named Chucky. On Friday, he was sentenced to three life terms in prison.

After a six-day trial, a Bexar County jury in December found Mireles, 42, guilty of eight counts of aggravated assault of a public servant, interference with a police service animal and evading arrest and detention.
