Woman shot by another woman outside illegal after-hours bar on the East Side, police say
SAN ANTONIO - A woman is hospitalized after being shot by another woman outside an illegal after hours bar, police said. The shooting occurred before 3 a.m. Friday on Rigby Avenue near Elgin Avenue. The two women were arguing inside the illegal bar when the argument spilled out into the parking area. One of the women pulled out a gun and shot the other, causing the suspected shooter to drive away. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has been unable to shut down the bar.

The shooting happened before 3 a.m. Friday on Rigby Avenue near Elgin Avenue.
Police said the two women were arguing inside the illegal bar when it spilled out into the parking area. Investigators say that is when one of the women pulled out a gun and shot the other.
The suspected shooter then drove off.
The woman was hit in the shoulder and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is aware of the illegal bar, but hasn't been able to shut it down.
