De'Aaron Fox truthers should be taking a victory lap after his latest performance
San Antonio Spurs star De'Aaron Fox's early season performance should fuel hopes for a bounce-back season. De'Aaron Fox's early season performance for the San Antonio Spurs has fueled hopes for a bounce-back season, with 17.3 points, 8.3 assists, and 2 steals per game. Fox's improved decision-making and athletic burst have helped him get into the paint and finish at the rim. Despite being known as a scorer, Fox has proven to be the Spurs' best passer this season. He has been particularly helpful finding easy baskets for Victor Wembanyama by throwing pinpoint alley oops. Fox also contributes significantly to the Spurs’ three-point guard lineup, as he is the best playmaker and scorer of the bunch and also the most experienced. His improved defensive play has helped the team close out on shooters, force turnovers, and get out in transition.
